Learn how to use a BACK ON! power bank station: check the rental price, follow the screen, connect a cable and confirm your return.
1. Check the station
Read the displayed price and rental conditions before paying. The rate, billing interval, any maximum charge or card hold, and return instructions can vary by venue. Make sure you can return the bank within the location’s opening hours.
2. Rent a power bank
Follow the instructions on the station’s screen to pay and collect a released power bank. Check that the built-in connector suits your device.
3. Charge on the move
Connect the cable and check your phone is charging. You keep your phone with you rather than leaving it at a wall socket. Charging speed depends on your device and battery conditions.
4. Return and check
Follow the return instructions shown for your rental. Insert the power bank correctly and check that the system has recognised the return and ended the rental. Do not leave a bank on top of the machine or hand it to someone without confirming the rental has ended.
Where can I use BACK ON!?
We are arranging our first Hull venue trials. Confirmed locations will be announced when they are available. Do not assume that a proposed venue or another provider’s machine accepts BACK ON! returns.
